    Join us this summer for our free recreation program, Tour de Rec, that aims to bring recreation to neighborhood parks.

    Tour de Rec staff will set up activities and equipment for youth ages 6-12 years-old to enjoy; such as group games, sports, arts and crafts, and more!

    Free drop in program, no registration required.

    6-12 years-old / Under 6 years-old, must be accompanied by an adult.

    Tour de Rec staff will arrive and leave at the designated time. West St. Paul and Mendota staff are not responsible for any youth before or after listed time..

    Other dates in this event series: July 24 & 30. August 12.

  2. Community Discussion: West St. Paul Police Chief Position

    WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

    The City of West St. Paul is beginning the process of filling the vacant Police Chief position. The first step in this process is to gather public input. The City Manager would like to hear from the public regarding this important hiring process.

    All residents and businesses are invited to participate in one of the three Community Discussions listed above. These discussions are a chance for the City Manager to listen to concerns and comments, answer questions and converse with the community regarding the Police Chief position.

    Come ready with questions and comments as these discussions will be mostly audience-driven. In an effort to encourage involvement by all (even the camera shy), these discussions will not be televised or video/audio recorded by the City.

    The City will take notes for record. Please keep in mind that this is still a public event and attendees are free to record.

  3. FREE Fitness in the Park! Bootcamp!!

    Come outside and meet all of your friends and neighbors for a great workout!

    The West St. Paul Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the YMCA, are proud to offer a FREE Fitness in the Park Series.

    A waiver is required to participate in the class, waivers will be located at the site. The site for this Bootcamp - Fitness in the Park program will be near the warming house at Harmon Park.

    All ages and abilities are welcome!

    Classes will last 45 minutes to an hour each.

    The last date in this event series is August 1st.

  4. Youth Field Trip - Rockin' Jump & Saints Game

    July 17, 2019, 9:15 AM - 4:45 PM @ Harmon Park - Neighborhood Center


    Spend the morning jumping on trampolines. And, in the afternoon, cheer on the Saint Paul Saints as they take on the Kansas City T-Bones.

    For ages 9-14 years-old.

    Please bring a bag lunch and beverage, or extra spending money for concessions.

    Come spend the day under the sun, with 7 water slides, a lazy river, and play a round of mini golf.

    For ages 6-13 years-old.

    A pizza lunch will be provided - includes 1 slice of pizza and a beverage. Other concession items are available for purchase. No outside food is allowed.

    Please bring a swim suit and a towel.

  8. Movie in the Park - Trolls (DreamWorks Animation)

    Join us at the parks this summer and enjoy a FREE family movie.

    Happy Trolls meet unhappy Bergens in this colorful musical. The fun Trolls try to teach Bergens happiness through song and dance.

    The movie will start at 9:00 PM and small concessions will be available for purchase.

    Run time for the movie Trolls is approximately 1 hour, 32 minutes.

    Each week the Summer Playhouse will stop by Harmon Park with a new family-friendly show centered around the book series "Nate the Great" by Majorie Weinman Sharmat.

    Nate the Great is a boy detective who solves mysteries. He takes his work seriously despite any silliness that may go on around him. A favorite book series liked by kids and their adults!

    C.O.P.S. in the Park stands for Community Outreach with Public Safety in the Park. The intention of this event is to build positive relationships between our community and our public safety personnel.

    We provide a fun and laid back environment to meet and chat with our police officers, fire fighters, and more! All community members are encouraged to attend!
