The work on Marie Avenue is substantially complete.
The alley south of Bernard Street and east of Stryker Avenue will be reconstructed in August. This page will be updated once we get closer to starting that work.
The project covers Marie Avenue from Robert Street to Oakdale Avenue in West St. Paul. Marie Avenue is proposed to be milled and overlaid. Milling involves removal of the top two inches of asphalt. Prior to milling, paving and striping though sections of broken concrete curb and driveway aprons will be removed and replaced. The sanitary and storm sewer castings will also be replaced as needed. Expect lane closures for the duration of the project, but the road will remain open to traffic. This project is expected to begin May 11, 2020 and will take 5-6 weeks to complete. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements to the city’s infrastructure.
