SaveTheFood.com is a national campaign by the Ad Council that is spreading the word about the importance of reducing food waste. Their website offers great tips on food storage and cooking with food scraps, along with great tips and tricks. Use the “Guest-imator” to plug in number of guests and what type of menu you’re thinking about, and it will generate quantities of foods to make to limit leftovers and prevent waste.
