Events

West Saint Paul Police Reserve Officers take part in several community events around the city. Their presence helps to ensure a safe environment for everybody attending. In addition, reservists interact with the public and answer any questions they might have about the event or the community.

Several of the events Reserve Officers take part in involve the youth of the community. Reserve Officers are able to talk to and teach them important lessons such as when to use 911, what to do if a stranger approaches, and that the police are your friends and are here to help people. We also get to show off some of the fun toys we have, like our squad cars.
