- Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan
In December 2011, the City Council accepted the City of West St. Paul Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan. The Plan was developed from a grant awarded to the City from Dakota County Active Living with funds provided by the Minnesota State Health Improvement Project and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The plan will be a long-term guide for transforming the City in to a progressive pedestrian and bicycle friendly community where every citizen can incorporate physical activity into their daily routines. Sidewalks, trails and bikeways, street crossings, way-finding and programs to promote walking and biking will all be addressed in the plan.
